Farmers Market Bag Finished

Black Magic Cake (Best Chocolate Cake Ever!) | Chocolate Recipes | Just A Pinch Recipe Club
Dalton ended up helping me make his own birthday cake...it was a good time:)
The cake turned out great and got thumbs up from everyone!! We added Chocolate sprinkles to the top.... well Dalton did and he probably used half the container LOL ...whatever makes you happy hun!I personally dont like chocolate cake but I liked this one and so did my daughter (& she's picky)!

Landmarks ATC Received
This ATC was stitched for me by Donna Easton. "Angel of the North" located in Gateshead, England.
Its a contemporary sculpture designed by Anthony Gormley. Made of steel it stands 20 metres tall, & has a wing spand of 54 metres across. Its wings are angled forward 35 degrees to give it a sense of embrace. The sculpture was started in 1994 and finished in February of 1998.

Famous Landmarks ATC
For this months cross stitched ATC the theme was famous landmarks. So I chose the Taj Mahal in the moonlight. The background paper was made in India, thought it added a nice touch. My card is being sent to Austalia this time ....hope she likes it!

Portable knitting projects
"Button-Down Alpaca-Wool Hat" featured in "Luxury Yarn One-Skein Wonders" Ive looked through tons of patterns this past winter and made lots of hats that dont quite look the best on me, but this one is great! Plain to go with every thing, doesnt squish my hair down or sqeeze my head!
Summer Shawl- tried this one on too and its really cute! Just the right weight.
Market Bag by Plymouth Yarns - this bag stretches out to hold alot of stuff ! Perfect for shopping. Bought the same brand of yarn but in blues and greens...
All these projects are on display at my favorite yarn store...got the stuff just need to get started.Im working on my cabled afghan while at home, but its getting to heavy to haul around with me, so I was looking for projects that are more portable. I like to knit on the go/in public as some call it, you'd be amazed at how much time you end up waiting for things....you can get more knitting done than you think;)

Limerick Knit Throw
Love this throw!! The kit for this throw was one of my Mother's Day presents....cant wait:) TY TY TY! Im still working on my cabled afghan at the moment & am halfway finished with my knit bunny. Nice to have your next project ready though, looking forward to it! It will be gorgeous when its finished. Hopefully I will be able to get it started....I will have to practice with some scrap yarn first.
